I couldn't help myself with the Lost World deja vu.
The beginning alone was full of reminders.
The T-Rex of course
The native girl being carried to the altar to be sacrificed. (Marguerite twice)
The native girl not wanting to marry but being forced to (very Veronica and Chief Jacoba)
That T-Rex was a blood thirsty thing wasn't it?
The way it licked the heart of the sacrificed native girl yukkkkkky. _________________

I watched some of it but the really, really, really bad wig on Ian scared me more than the T Rex and I gave up. I did see Will and well...looked like the make-up/costumes people got a deal on really bad wigs. Will sounded a bit like he did on TLW to me. The beard (if it was his own) made him look so much older.
I was rather disappointed in the writing considering it was Ricky Manning (aka Froon from Farscape). Sadly it seemed like so many other SciFi produced movies. This is just my opinion and your mileage may vary. _________________ I like corny. I'm looking for corny in my life. - Iris - The Holiday

Brian Trenchard-Smith Aztec Rex Blog (updated 5/5/ 0 8 ) . Very, very amusing. You need to continue to scroll down (the scroll button is to the left and at the bottom of the page) to read Mr. Trenchard-Smith comments about Aztec Rex.... warning: It's a TV-14 Blog.

Jaxgirl - imho, you didn't really miss much. I'm sure SciFi will run it again...they usually do run their movies a couple more times. If you go to SciFi.com and their schedule, you might be able to have it send you a reminder when it comes on again. _________________ I like corny. I personally thought that will did a fantastic job acting, but other than that, that was one of the WORST!!!! movies I think i've ever seen in my life, that t-rex was so fake, it looked like something from a video game, I mean, the puppets from season one of TLW looked a hell of alot better than that, and the actors did a horrible job acting,(except for will of course) but I was so disapointed, especially cause they were making such a big deal about this movie, and it wasn't even that good. _________________ "I don't think it's the patient sort George!" said by roxton to challenger in, "Under Pressure"

The wig on Ian reminded me of the wig they put on the actor who played the adult Osric...I wonder if wigs on men bring out the over acting bug? _________________ I like corny. I'm looking for corny in my life. - Iris - The Holiday

Well everybody has their opinion. I would like to know what was "horrible" about my performance. Granted I didn't have as much screen time after some of my lines were cut but in all modesty I thought I did a pretty good job. So please "hoghunter" tell me in your expert opinion what I should have or could have done differently.

Well if you know where one can find a real life t-rex or a realistic-looking 20-foot puppet of one, I would love to know where you'd find one!

Well, I finally watched it. I thought the special FX would be better, considering what they can do with today's technology, but I've seen worse. I agree that some of the acting wasn't very good, but it wasn't all bad. Will was the Will that we all know and love. I thought Shawn did alright. I thought that Marcos Sanchez, who played Rios, did a good job. Ian's performance just seemed forced, like he was trying too hard to convince us that he was a Spaniard. He didn't pull it off. I wouldn't say that it was the worst movie I've ever seen. It was typical of a SciFi Channel movie.

I missed it either fortunately or unfortunately, it depends on how you look at it. I will try to see it when it reappears. The comments so far are interesting!
Question: Slathrop who did you play in it? Frey always says one should hire real dinos for these flics but humans are wussies!

, Frey.
I'm actually surprized at some of the comments. I enjoyed the movie. I watched it to the very end -- despite the death of a major heroic favorite actor/character -- ahem. _________________

Well for the record and to prevent anyone from posting nasty comments or sending rude e-mails to hoghunter I want everyone to know that we discussed the comments in private and I hold no ill will or animosity toward hoghunter. I've always believed in civility and common courtesy so I ask others to do the same thing and keep it here on the board.

Shawn, I see you were also in an episode of LOST.
Any fond memories?
Thanks for coming by. _________________
