T-Rex Azetca
As Leener mentioned in "The Starter Wife" thread, Jeff Hayes likes to hire people he's worked with in the past. Unless, this Will Snow is the other 20 something Australian Actor or the young 6 year old American Will Snow, our Will was in Hawaii filming (Not LOST *SOB*) but this made for TV Movie (from everything I've heard, it's to air sometime next year on the Sci-Fi channel.. subject to change).
Spoiler Info from the director....
Hidden:
I guess if you can see Ian as Cortes, you can see Will as Mendoza.
No I don't know if he'll be wearing a wig and I don't know if his hair is ...back LOL

Did you see who wrote it? FROON!!! (ok, that's for Scapers out there who know who that is...for those of you who don't it is the illustrious Richard Manning - I bet J&G don't need to know this though. )
Finally a made for telly SciLie movie I might not gag at.
You know this will be deliciously EVIL movie. Kemper and Manning are frellin' insane! They LOVE nothing more than to torture their fans.

Sunkrux there is a certain segment of 'Scapers' who believe Manning is scraping the bottom of the barrel writing this muck. LOL

Director comments on Will Snow:
WILL SNOW was great. He plays a mercenary working for Cortez. Battle-scared - but not to the extent that would scare off a fangirl - long straggly hair, somewhat sweat and dirt strained. There is a strong pirate flavour to his performabce. ARRRH!

I surfed on over to the IMB.
Curious, I asked/commnted:
"(William Snow) is an Australian actor. Will he be using a Spanish accent as Mendoza?"
Reply: from bts141 -
The Aztec characters learned Spanish from the shipwrecked priest Father Gria, but they speak it in English. The Conquistadors also speak Spanish...in English.
I felt that everyone should speak neutral American and therefore have a common tongue. Aztecs with Banderas accents would be a little odd. Will does a great American accent. bts
Something to look forward to I think. _________________

This information is from the director of T-Rex Azteca (and subject to change).
The film was shot in 35 mm.,it is designed for all markets, theatrical, DVD, and cable. It is still in post-production but the advance buzz is good. The distributor is considering entering it in science fiction fantasy and horror film festivals. _________________ CAP...and no dinos were harmed during the production of Aztec Rex

From the director "Brian Trenchart-Smith
| Quote: | We locked the cut today, and I can say even before final sound and visual effects are added that this going to be one of my better genre cocktails, (Apocalypto in the Valley of Gwangi!) and I am very proud of it. I think the ammount and quality of work on the screen, both in front and behind the camera, is a great credit to the Hawaiian film industry.

Okay...I'm on it (I just love William Shatner, don't you....) So, which island will we be hopping to and do prefer to stay at the Ritz or The Four Seasons? What, where is the cast and crew staying? Think we could mix in as movie critics? Don't laugh...I've done worse in a previous life....so many stories to tell you later.....
Shall I book massages by the beach for us too....with Will of course.....
PS....do you think they can hook us up with the massages on Priceline.com too or will we have to wait until we get there.
No passport needed, right - I mean Hawaii is the 50th state so we're okay on that right?

Hey CAP!!! Captain Kirk came through (say that three times fast....it's a whopper!)...I can jet out to Hawaii for the low low price of $1266- Thursday through Tuesday. No worries, I have the vacation time saved up....just a little worried about the return home- might have to sell a body part to get by the rest of the month but hey! Life is short- go to Hawaii right? Ta ta!!!
Note to self: I must remember to buy that Lotto ticket tomorrow....

Hopefully somebody in our 'treehouse gang' WILL be onsite to view and give us the scoop. I won't be there in Hawaii- wish I could, though. LL
