I absolutely HATED "Trophies" i think that they never should have made it. Evil or Very Mad

Why? Can you give an example or reason why you didn't like it? Just curious.
I actually quite enjoyed this episode. It gave us a bit more background on Marguerite (including the fact she can rig a bomb and the first mention of a "Miss Smith"), Veronica got to show her stuff (saving a trog boy, Malone [sorta] and herself), and the actor who played Applegate was sufficiently nasty (and kind of attractive in a dirtied down way). It's not my absolute favorite but I enjoyed it far more than some others shown this same season.

Well, it's kind of hard to explain, first of all i hated the way that Applegate was manipulating the explorers, it just pissed me off alot Evil or Very Mad secondly the fact that applegate didn't die (well we really don't know if he did or not) but it would of been nice to actually see him die, but one thing that would of made it better would be if they had like a t-rex or some kind of dinosaur coming after them(possibly even eating Applegate) but i think the real reason was that i just hated Applegate's character, i mean i don't hate this episode as much as i do "tourist season" but i just do not like it.

Ahhhh! I see, it's his character and the way he manipulated the explorers that got you. I can understand that but, when you think about it, he never really pulled one over on Marguerite and Veronica and even Malone was not so taken in that he didn't get kidnapped by Applegate and friends to keep him quiet.

I think they kept Applegate end ambiguous on purpose. He may have made a return in season four. In their synopsis J&G said he could have been someone attempting to get information from Lord Roxton, for malevolent reasons, in an episode to come.

Hm, I enjoyed watching it several times, but I still don't know if I like this episode, or not. Applegate was pretty nasty, I agree, and I'd like to see him dead too. That's the reason I don't like Trophies. But in this episode there is a mentioning of Miss Smith and I have to say, that I really like this name (I remember, that when I was 9, I used to play spies with my friends, and I had Miss Smith as a code name Embarassed ); I also like the end, when Marguerite said: "Don't you think people are more interesting, when they have... secrets?", and all the others answered: "No!" Very Happy . That's the reason I like it. And so, I can't deside if I like it, or not...
