I'm sure you will love your prize (and certainly coffee or tea in that mug will have a much better taste...  )
I'm still showing off with my Veronica key-ring from the previous contest! (Just waiting for TowandaBR to arrive home to spend Carnival with me to finish my show off, I should say )

You need to understand that TowandaBR and myself, well, we are not exactly big fans of Carnival. So, she is coming to my house exactly for us to be as far away from all the crazy parties as possible. Participating in the Carnival parties is an experience for once in a lifetime, in my opinion, so that's why we usually don't go to the Carnival parties every year (and usually tend to be as far as possible from them). But since Carnival is a holiday in the entire country, we tend to use that time to travel around and visit friends, what TowandaBR will be doing (lucky me!!  )
The best place for Carnival in Brazil is certainly Rio de Janeiro (it's just insanely crowded, but it is certainly beautiful to watch, and it makes you want to participate in the party, it's really great). So, if you are ever planning to come to Brazil for Carnival, Rio de Janeiro is the city to be during Carnival time!!

Just come. Cris and I will be happy to change our plans to show you the Carnival.
Cris talked about Rio, but Salvador and Recife also have an amazing Carnival.

What a wonderful excuse to visit friends a Carnival non Carnival time.... and right now I would like to experience Carnival...... I'm looking at the Sun just cresting the horizon.. and it's so beautiful... and a bi-zillon below zero...

No, no, CAP. Thank YOU. Stay warm. It' actually snowed in Miami, Florida for the first (and so far last) time on this day in 1977. Ah, I remember it well. It's about 50 degrees warmer today than on January 19, 1977.
