pack an umbrella and raincoat, we had the most amazing weather this week, but we are back to Irish weather this morning. Hopefully it will clear up soon and you will have lots of warm sun.
I would switch with you in a sec, I love going to Germany! It's so beautiful and close to my heart. {I was born there}
Have a great time here. Hope your bringing loads of lovely German cookies and chocolates. Take care and safe trip. _________________ I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.

Well the weather is being kind to Jo. Today was so beautiful I packed a basket and took the boys to the beach after school. [we blew off homework, but when you get a day like today here, you just have to go for it. Plus it was only coloring a picture and spelling 4 words. We'll do it in at bedtime.] Now it's wine for mommie and cleaning sand out of the bathtub.
Hope you are enjoying your break Jo. _________________ I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.

wow, that's a long way for you to go. I can barely stand the 7 hours to NY. Where did you go and when where you here? _________________ I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.

I went on a trip with my mom and Aunt Barb to Europe back in 2005 in August. We had gone on a cruise ship and stopped at each of the British Isles. Ireland was one of them. _________________ "On this island, there is no such thing as safe."

Sorry I'm so late in replying, but hubby and I were on holiday, too. Afterwards ... lots of stuff to be seen to...
I'm happy you girls are having a great time. Ireland can be so accommodating when sweet people go there that even the weather is fine I'm eager to hear your reports after Jo returns home. Bet they will be exciting and full of wonderful memories

Hey all, I've found finally some time to write a few words about my holiday...
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it was soo great! I can't believe it was over so fast, but I'll go again later this year ;-)
Well, I arrived Dublin airport Saturday afternoon and was picked up by Manja and her friend Jen - it was sooo great to see Manja again, since we haven't seen each other for a real long time before! So when I settled down a bit and the Jägermeister was given to the girls, we went to "Temples Bar" - pubs and clubs - you know
After having a good deal of sleep, we left Dublin to hit the road to get to the westcoast, by lunchtime. That landscape was to fantastic! The closer we came to the west, the landscape got more and more breathtaking - that was the Ireland we all know of the films and photos.
We took the longer route which lead us through lil villages and very, very small streets (that Irish guys have got a very "strange" and crazy way to drive, but I do not mean driving on the wrong side like the Brits )
However, our first destination were the "Cliffs of Moher" WOW WOW WOW! well, a few clouds spoiled the sunset fun, but the view was amazing!!!
Later we were looking for a place to sleep - after a little while we've found a nice and sandy beach at the Atlantic Ocean, it was not that legal to build up a tent there, but no risk, no fun! One remarkable moment was when we saw dolphins swimming in the ocean just in front of us and the permanent sound of the waves the whole night.
Sleeping in a tent at the beach, was not too comfortable, but absolutely okay. I still have to smile of the thought the way Manja looked like in the morning on the bottom of the tent LOL.
After getting up etc. we went along the coast to Galway to spent a lovely time there - again we stayed at a beach where I got my first sunburn and found a barking friend - sooooo cute! When it was time to get back to Dublin we went the straight route back to the city, because Jen had to work the next day.
Tuesday (with Manja) and Wednesday (on my own) I spent the days in Dublin city to take finally a few pics (not that much as I wanted to, but there is always a next time) Dublin is a great city, since there is just one centre and everything is in walking distance there and I've got my second sunburn whilst I sat down at the "Liffey" - geez! Oh the weather was really ok all those days, no rain, except 30 mins whilst we were in the tent ;-)
I hardly can't wait to get back to the land of green!!
