NEW Questions & Answers ON JENNIFER ODELL`S OFICIAL WEB SITE:
ANS A MESSAGE 4 THE MOTHERS DAY!
I've finally had time to up date this section of my site. I'm so sorry I haven't been more prompt about up dates, but I seem to have a life here in L.A. that keeps me very busy. I've also been heartbroken with a few select fans who like to write in and give me there personal opinions of me or my career that haven't been very nice or up lifting. Most of you who write in are kind and have questions, but there are others out there (you know who you are) who are sad sad people with nothing better to do than rip on others to make themselves feel better for the sorry lives they are living.
I'd like to quote something I heard Alec Baldwin say during an interview with the Actors Studio. He said, "Acting is what I DO for a LIVING. This is how we get a pay check!" We read a script and do it either because we really like the script or the director or other actors doing the movie OR , Just maybe, we might be doing it because it PAYS OUR FREAKIN BILLS!
And it happens to be a lot of fun! We enjoy entertaining ourselves AND other people. We might not make an epic classic movie or tv show each and every time we work, but who the hell gives a S**t! Oh, that's right, YOU, the one sitting at his computer hating the world around him for being happy. Come on! This business I am in is hard to maintain because 'fame is fleeting', but like our Mother's always say, "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it at all". OR, Please allow me to dwell atop your cubical and scrutinize how you sit stand or speak, how you wear your hair or pick your nose, or Oh, please allow me to comment on ALL of your career choices as I'm sure your sitting exactly where you'd like to be in life.
At least I am doing what I want to do with my life and not doing it because it only pays my bills. I enjoy making other's happy. I enjoy the fact that others watch me or my characters and it makes them think, gives them hope, or just makes them smile. I've had people write in telling me they will always remember moments watching me with their son who had some form of cancer and they love to relive those moments because their family members are no longer with them. That is why I do what I do.
What do YOU do with YOUR life? How do you make the world a little better? Really, if you would like to write in to me please give me some inspiration and love. That is only what I wish for everyone out there in the world.
Today:
* Say, 'Bless You' when a stranger sneezes. It'll make them smile.
* Buy a box of cookies from a girl scout... Remember when you were little?
* Go to a homeless shelter for a day and help feed the poor. You'll come home and want to hug your family.
* Tell YOUR MOTHER THAT YOU LOVE HER AND YOU APPRECIATE HER FOR RAISING YOU. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY...

I'm sorry that some people (I wouldn't call them fans) would find the need to send her such things. But I think if a fan questions her choices in acting roles, how is that bad? It doesn't mean we don't still like her as a person or an actor. btw, we all have jobs that we do (whether we like them or not is beside the point) that pay the bills. Nothing to be ashamed of. I think it's good to give constructive criticism to actors because if they don't hear such things, their range as an actor may never change. I think over the years Jen's range has changed and for the better. She seems much more secure in who she is as a performer now than she did when she brought Veronica to life.
So Jen - if you read this or the message I just left you, just because some of us might question your choices as an actress, it doesn't mean we don't like you as a person or an actor, because I for one admire that you are so open and sharing with your fans. Sadly as you're learning, doing so also opens you up to a bunch of meanies. Just say the word and I'll come from where I'm at and kick some meanie butt with you. Take care Jen and don't let the mean naysayers get you down. I have a feeling you have way more fans in your corner cheering you on than those few mean naysayers. _________________ I like corny. It's a shame about what was said. Jennifer is very good at what she does and I think most of us, support her, it's a shame that a few bad apples have to spoil it for the rest of us.

Jennifer O’Dell is fun, energetic and heartfelt. Using inspiring classic and contemporary music she creates an enjoyable ride that blends stamina, speed and mental focus. At times meditative, at times exciting, Jennifer’s class is a great work out and a student favorite.
Born in Ridgecrest, CA, Jennifer was raised in Hawaii until she was eight years old and then moved back to California.
A Spin Instructor since 2002, she enjoys Spinning because it gives her the "ultimate cardio workout". Running is hard on her knees so she needs a work out that offers "a vigorous heart pounding and is intense enough to keep me super fit and strong."
Jennifer is the mother of Logan, a 3 year old boy "who keeps me on my toes" and is a talented, working actress - .
"Being an actress and Mother I don't have a lot of time to spend at a gym so Spinning helps keep me fit in a short amount of time. I also love Spinning to the beat of the music. It really gets me going for my day ahead and makes me feel like I can accomplish anything in life."
Jennifer enjoys teaching because she loves to see others inspired and changing their lives for the better. She teaches in a calm but forceful way and finishes class with a 10-15 minute YOGA stretch.
"I try to inspire my students with whatever is inside their heart, mind & soul. My students strive harder every class and improve all on their own... I just make sure they don't waste their time & money by coming here and not improving in some way..."
"Most 'Spinners' don't stretch! Stretching when your muscles are warm is the BEST time to help you gain MORE flexibility!"
