Perhaps my definition of scary is a bit different from some others. But, I found 'Absolute Power' disturbing.

i would have to say "stone cold", i mean with the gargoyles eyes opening and closing everytime the explorers would walk by, oh, and lets not forget about the part where roxton jabs that sword into the gargoyle at the end.

I think The Knife is a very scary episode for me, because of... well, Roxton as Jack the Ripper, who's killing Marguerite (as... I don't remember the name... Mary or something like that)... I never got a use to that... and Veronica's accent.

But the scariest episode for me was (and still is) Heart of the Storm, because they didn't make the rest of the episodes...(yet! Maybe they are going to make them...)
