CAP, you always remember my birthday, thanks so much.
One of the reasons I have not been around lately is b/c I am actually working in professional baseball now. It's unbelievable, I know, but a few weeks ago, almost three now (wow, it seems like I just moved) I was offered to fill in for the rest of the season as an unpaid internship with the Daytona Cubs. So, with one day's notice, I packed up my stuff, and moved from Colorado to Daytona Beach, FL. The Daytona Cubs are a class A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. I help w/ all sorts of stuff during a normal 9-5 job. Mostly media relations stuff, but the whole staff helps the grounds crew w/ the tarp. And sometimes I have other less glamorous jobs, such as cleaning the press box. But when games begin, I get to host the pre and post game shows. I also am the studio producer for the games, so I stay at the radio station, run the audio board and play the commercials. I'm only here until the middle of Sept. Then, I'll be going back to Colorado and attending pro baseball's big job fair at the Winter Meetings, which will be in Las Vegas this December. Hopefully, I can use my college experience and this 2 month gig to attain a paid position with some team next season. Wish me luck!
Oh, and I am 24 now, btw.

ASIG, that's wonderful! Many a top exec started as you are. Who knows, perhaps one day you'll be GM of your Cubbies, and engineer their first world's championship!  Good luck at the job fair and keep us posted.

So let me think of why I remember the beginning of August...
You were the head of the Evil Roundtable.. and you just found another victim at the beginning of August 2001?
I was in Philadelphia for a family reunion and had to bribe my nephew to use his computer.... just so I could say Happy Birthday to you around August 2001? (ASIG you owe me 10 bucks!)
or
Cast and Crew are back on the set in Australia shooting series 3 August 2001 (so said the emailed Treehouse News)

Yes, well, I guess there's a lot to jog your memory there. It's August 2, so the same day as Colorado, actually. I remember we (Colorado and I) discovered that by accident at some point. It was kinda weird.
I also want to thank you, California gal, and Sarah for your kind comments. And, of course, everyone who chimed in to wish me a Happy Birthday as well!
