I'll believe that when Judy and Gar come here and tell us themselves. It was made pretty clear back at the Con in 2006 that any type of closure on film would not be coming. It's been too many years. So, I wouldn't hold my breath, no matter what Martin wrote in the petition.
Sorry, I just don't want information like that to get everyone's hopes up, when in all likelihood it won't happen.
By the way, I looked and I was petition signer number 71. Man, that seemed like forever ago.

Kim, is right as much as we'd like a filmed closure, it's certainly not possible, at this late date. And about J&G contacting a board member, then this person posting it in a petition thread (alone) sounds like they are trying to make a "hot mess". Unfortunate.

I just checked the petition and unfortunately this Martin (who ever he is) didn't leave an email addy behind either, so there's no way to contact him and ask him.
Unfortunately the chances of anything but the closure we already have (the summary)are very remote.
I would like to thank all of you fans out there who have supported the petition since Annika and I started it. I had a look at the statistics and we've had well over a 150 signatures in the past 2 months again, which makes the grand total:

Good Question, LadyKrux... if I understand your meaning, you are asking who has seen this petition, with enough time, money and enthusiasm to mount a mini-series/TV movie, tie up the loose ends, sort of thing? I know J&G has a hard copy of the petition. I don't know how the petition has been used, by them.

Yes, you understood absolutelly right.
I think it would be worth showing it to (even) someone else, to more people.. The petition has been signed by many fans so it shows that TLW is still up to date, if it makes a sence..
