So I was day dreaming the other day about TLW returning. I was thinking what the first ad on TV would look like. For instance, you'd be watching TV in primetime, and then a cool commercial comes on, talking about the return of the show.
So, my question, is, what would your ad look like? Just describe it hear. Or if you're insanely talented you could actually make it!  I'm going to post my description later!

I got a sneak peak at some of Tingler's ideas and they are awesome! It took me straight back to the plateau. What great adventures we're all in for.

Bear in mind that this is not really an advertisement for the show,more like how I would like to see the beginning scenes played out-I had this visualised in my mind while I was writting it.
Flash back to the final scenes of Heart of the Storm.
Veronica trying desperately to control the raging storm that is engulfing her. The blackness descends upon her. She awakes to find her mother and Sumerlee bending over her with distraught looks upon their faces.
She has found Avalon and her mother,a tender moment indeed. She is glad to Sumerlee also.
Her mother tells her that she must harness the power of the necklace to win the freedom of her lost compatriots. In doing so she will bring the plateau back into existence.
She must travel through time-past and future to find Margeurite,Roxton,Challenger,Finn and Malone.
She does not want to leave her mother again after such a long and heart breaking absence but she knows it is the only way to restore the ballance and bring everyone back.
With her mother's help,she is told how to harness a part of the necklace's power to travel in time.
She is transported into Finn's time-we find her where we left her. Just as she is being hunted down by the baddies,Veronica appears out of nowhere in ablinding white light,causing the vehicle that is chasing Finn to crash into a tree. The two girls share a haunting tender moment before going on the run. Veronica explains as best she can to Finn about the mission at hand.
Finn immediatley agrees to join in the hunt for her new-found family that was ripped so cruelly from her...

Veronica and Finn place a finger upon the necklace and are transported once again through time.
It is foggy, an eerie silence greets them-it looks eerie and and a sense of foreboding descends upon them. A scream breaks the silence-the two look at each other. No words are needed as they both know the mission at hand. They rush head long into the mist with no thought for their own safety.
Another scream pierces the silence-they both know who it is. They reach a clearing and are met with a vision that neither of them can comprehend.
On a stone slab lies Marguerite, surrounded by druids, one of them is holding a knife in the air.
As he starts to draw the blade down Marguerite’s screams become more fevered. Veronica and Finn rush in and in the ensuing fight the blade is knocked to the ground. Upon seeing the necklace that Veronica has around her neck, the druids drop to their knees in prayer. Finn unties Marguerite and as she gets off the slab she aims a kick at the chief druid and catches him a good one in the face.
Tears of joy and hugs are the order of the day for the three girls. Again Veronica recounts her tale to Marguerite who shows a rare touch of emotion as she hears Veronica tell her that Sumerlee is still alive and being cared for in Avalon.
Veronica takes off the necklace once more and all three girls place a finger on its iconic design and are transported once again through time.

Roxton would most certainly be next on the list to be rescued.
As the three girls touch the necklace-the scene dissolves-it opens to find Roxton being held prisoner by the conquistadories(sp). He is tied at the wrists and legs very tightly. He is in converstaion with the leader of the party when out of the corner of his eye he sees a blinding light. He can not shield his eyes as his hands are tied behind his back.
Veronica,Marguerite and Finn emmerge from with in the light. Some of the captors fall to their knees with cries of "Diablo" coming from them.
The ladies then quickly subdue Roxton'e captors with their own personal brand of justice . Roxton is stunned into silence as he cannot believe his eyes. before long,Roxton's captors are either lying out cold-or fleeing for their lives.
Marguerite advances towards Roxton with a knife in her hand and slits his bonds of captivity.
Once again we see a brief glimps of Marguerite's soft and gentle side as she embraces and kisses Roxton. Relief is etched all over her face. Veronica and Finn hug Roxton untill he can barely breathe.
He asks how they all came to be here and again Veronica recounts her story. He too is thrilled to find that Sumerlle is still alive,and is also pleased for Veronica that she has once again found her mother.
They now need to find Challenger,Roxton retrieves his weapons that were taken from him by his captors.
Once again the magic of the necklace transposes them into time and space.
Challenger is lying strapped to the operating table-pleading with the machine from the future for his life. The slave walks forward brandishing the scalpel,the light from the over head fitments glisten off the blade. We see Challenger's reflection in the blade-a look of fear in his eyes as the scalpel gets ever closer to his face.
A shot rings out,the scalpel is knocked from the man's hand and falls to the floor. Roxton stands there with his rifle pointed in front of him issuing a warning not to come any closer. His warning goes un-heeded,another shot rings out and the man falls to the floor. Finn rushes to Challenger and undoes his straps and hugs him. He looks at her with a genuine look of fatherly love on his face. Everyone is so pleased to be back together again. They must now find Malone.
This one will be tricky though.
I know it needs fleshing out-but it's just a synopsis of what I would like the openeing scenes to be like.
