I met Peter Graves in 1969. He was doing "Mission Impossible" at the time. How very, very gracious he was. Peter took the time to talk with my cousin and I, between set ups. He also took us around the outdoor set of " Mission Impossible" on the Paramount back lot. And introduce us to Martin Landau, Barbara Bain and Peter Lupus. Mr. Graves asked Peter Lupus to take us to lunch in the Paramount Commissary. Peter Lupus spent his lunch hour talking with us. The time spent with Peter Graves and cast was a remarkable, indelible moment. Made more memorable by Mr. Graves class and kindness.

Peter Graves had such a long, varied and enduring career that lasted for over 68 years. He will be missed and will be remembered for his many different accomplishments. Peter Graves March 18, 1926 - March 15, 2010.

I was sad to hear this. I love Mission: Impossible and enjoyed his time on 7th Heaven. He was a great actor, and sounded like a really nice guy. He will be missed.
