I don't go to too many fan forums these days, so I was wondering what the traffic was like on this forum.
I guess what I'm asking is: has TLW fan base died down in the past couple of years? Has it died a lot since the official TLW forum shut down? Or are we still a strong fan community?

A little over a year ago I got really interested in TLW. I would go to the official forum many times a day. But then I just sort of lost interest in it until I met someone who has The Lost World DVD collection, and began watching all those episodes again. So now I come back to the official forum, it's shut down, and this is where I come now, and so I just sort of wonder how active this place is.

Also, I remember there were other forums and fan sites that had lots of fan fiction and stuff, and I was wondering if they are still up.

Jesse, there is detail at the bottom of the forum on how many people are browsing within a twenty-four period. Also, at that top of each forum there is a section which shows who is browsing a particular forum.

Well, it answers some of my question. It's great to find a link to fan fictions Smile

As for the forum traffic, I was just trying to get a feel of how strong The Lost World fan community still was.
I remember thinking to myself that even though the show is canceled, its fans carry on, and keep a candle burning. And I was wondering if the TLW internet fans were drifting away.

Some have drifted away. It's only natural. However, many of us old geezers are still here, and we have a lot of new fans too.

We have almost 200 registered users. And even though the other board had thousands of registered users, there were a lot that never posted even once. Those of us that do post gladly moved our TLW interest over here. New people join us every day. I don't think fans have lost their interest. Many of us own the DVDs and love to read the fanfic and watch the videos. Like Cal Gal said, some drift away, but new ones drift in.
