I don't know if somebody wrote these:

Dominic Purcell - Prison Break - The Travelers
Christopher Kirby - Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - The Matrix Revolutions - The Prisoner

Simone.. I still haven't seen Revenge of the Sith.. but when I do.. I'll be sure to have a good look out! Thanks for the heads up...

Nims Island also had one behind the scenes person... "Sean Rigby" as *safety officer. He oversees all the safety aspects of the Stunt.

The other day I watched Into the Fire. That evening I was flicking through the channels and saw a familiar face- Captain Askwith was on the Aussie soap Home and Away. I don't know who he played, it was the final 30 seconds of the show. It was funny I had just seen the TLW episode with him in it earlier that day. It was one of those moments when you jump up and down on the edge of the sofa and shout, "Look who it is! I know him!" And no one knows what the H-E-double hockey sticks you are on about.

Oh and one I keep forgetting to mention, Alan Dale from Ugly Betty was in The Chosen One. [that was another one of those moments, but luckily no one was home for that one.]

I was watching an Aussie movie on Sundance the other day: Opal Dream and the guy who played Edgar Grey (Nicholas Bell) in The Outlaw was in it as the magistrate. :D

Oh and for all you The 4400 fans Jacqueline McKinzie played the mum. :D

This video is from the 1999-2000 Logies (Australian Emmys). Some faces, Rebecca Gibney (Cave of Fear) and "Kim Kilbey" two medium shots, once towards the beginning of the video, once towards the end. And a skit with Kevin Sorbo.

Has anyone of our Aussie treehouse mates seen this movie? It stars Steven Vidler aka Captain Askwith. It has fantastic reviews. Looks like a real weepy and a half which I normally don't go in for if I can avoid it but I'd buy an extra box of kleenex to see him in it. [he's a bit of a toe curler for me with those lovely blue eyes of his, at least I think they're blue] I looked on Amazon.com but it is sold as an aussie import with aussie region code.

I was watching stargate sg-1 last night and happened to catch John Noble (The Knife) playing Meurik in "Camelot." I have the dvd, and can get the clips from that epp, and maybe put up some screen caps? I did some searching and found out that he's also been in "The Lord of the Rings", "Tales of the South Seas", "24", and the upcoming series, "Fringe" by Fox.

Fringe is the new, hot show from J.J. Abrams (co-creator of Lost).
Catch the series premiere of FRINGE MON SEPT 9 at 9/8c, on FOX! Here's his cool scene on the episode, "The Experiment."

John Noble (The Knife) talks about his character Walter Bishop on "Fringe."

I would guess that he was at the Fringe panel at comic-con on saturday, so I didn't get to see him, but I did get to see Mr. Condilllac himself on the Prison Break panel on friday! Some one asked about his work on John Doe, but he was quick to get back to the topic...I was literally 2 feet away from him until a mob of girls crowded him -I couldn't get an autograph and then he left...so close...I have lots of pics, (and a new vid on my channel) but I'm so preoccupied with my b-day present for someone, I can't get anything done (hopefully this explains my absence on the board...anyone notice? =)) --So far that's two stars from TLW who both went to comic-con the same week! More pics and vids from CC soon to come :P

I saw Danielle (the Voodoo Queen) in one of the episodes of "Xena Warrior Princess" (I watched only the end, so I don't know the name of the episode, but it was something about Miss Known World...).

The Pacific Film and Television Commission (PFTC) would like to congratulate the raft of Queenslanders nominated for 10th annual 2008 Inside Film (IF) Awards, after the complete list of nominees was announced today in Sydney.

The IF Awards are the people's choice awards for Australian films. Nominees are selected based on a nation-wide audience poll that enables Australian film enthusiasts to rate films during film festivals and screenings or via the IF Awards website.

Winners are recognised at a glittering Awards ceremony which is held on the Gold Coast each November, as part of Queensland's week-long industry intensive which includes the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) annual conference and the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.

Here is one name that popped up on the list:

The Queensland Events Corporation IF Award for Best Actor - William McInnes, Unfinished Sky

William McInnes played the German Aviator, Hans Dressler, in Tribute .

In going through my AOL hometown I found this picture of Simone Kessler (far right), taken at a Logies ceremony. She played The Voodoo Queen in VDQ, The Lost World.
She looks very nice here...

That's awesome that you found her CAP!!! Now let's shoot a drugged blow dart into the back of her neck and drag her far far away from Roxton!
