He denied his feelings in London Calling, but i wonder which episode he finally gave into his feelings that prompted him to declare his love in Legacy. I was not expecting it!

I asked this question to Will Snow at one of the conventions and he said, for him, the moment of "no going back" was in The Outlaw. Or, as he called it: "The one when we were in the cage."

Great question outlaw! I thought it was on the river when she took her shirt off and revealed her camisole. Naturally, we have to give lust a co starring role in that part. I just finished watching The Outlaw (and had to back it up for the mushy scenes...good stuff!). In London Calling, I felt Roxton was protecting his pride more than denying having feelings for her. Untimately he had to give up his pride in order to reach out for what mattered to him. While Marguerite had to lower her defenses in order to let him in. I'd say those defenses dropped the most in Trapped. Where's that DVD at? A girl likes a little romance.

Ohhhh yes! :D *drool* His short hair does a lot to that! Makes him look younger. The only moment where I actually prefer his long hair is in Birthright! My fav M&R scene in the end ...that tight white T-Shirt, those beautiful eyes, that smile ...and the hair! Wow! That scene does wonders to me ...lol *thud*

I love to watch Season 3 and Season 1 episodes mixed up. It shows you how the characters devloped. How cool and reserved Marguerite is in Season 1 and how she acts in Season 3 for example ... great character development! For all characters.

And Roxton ...thud! You are so right outlaw24!

Steffi :)

When Roxton say's 'no more excuses', kisses Marguerite and then looks back at her again, has got to be the most gorgeous close up of him i have ever seen on the Lost World. He really looked like he was in love with her. Good acting! And good genes too!

The character of Roxton has got to be the most ideal man on screen i have seen thus far, too bad he's not a real person!

Even bigger sigh

What i loved about their relationship was that i felt they were genuinely in love with each other and not just because they were stuck with each other. They have both had other temptations on the plateau but they always came back together. They had a predestined aura to their relationship, which has been confirmed the season four transcript. Would have loved to see them get married. :D

That's my feeling as well. He was gone the minute she walked into the meeting at the Zoological Society and put the money up to fund the expedition. :D

I think they both, Rach and Will, were happy to be together in that cage  as Rach was happy to be together with Will in "Trapped" :cupid2:

I always go back and rewatch "Camelot" (I think that was the episode name - the one with the boy king, Marguerite as his fanciful lady-in-the-lake, a jousting match and sword fight, and Malone slaying a "dragon", etc.). Near the end, Marguerite throws herself in front of the bad guy's knife (Mordred, I think, I'm being lazy and not looking things up tonight) to save the young king. And Roxton immediately dispatches the villian (who is now - ironically - unarmed and not a threat) and catches her as she falls. In pain and falling unconcious, she calls John her "knight".

I always felt that moment was so ripe with danger and passion... I believe it was a moment when they felt their futures were intertwined - though the Lord was willing to admit it much earlier - and that falling in love was inevitable. You can't deny destiny! :)

You guys are making me want to watch my DVD's all over again lol :D
I have to agree with some of the others here, that Roxton was a gonner from the very first moment he laid eyes on Marguerite. For Marguerite it was later, might have been Camelot as suggested (really need to watch the DVD's again). And then the moment that they finally give in to their love, I think The Outlaw is the point for Roxton. From that point on he seems to try to convince Marguerite of his feelings, trying to get her to lower her defenses. Which as we all know she finally does in Trapped. Although she's already flirting with the thought in earlier episodes, Eye for an eye for instance.
Ok going now, need to watch TLW DVD's :D :D
