LL they are certainly not the Iconic images usually associated with the Mall of America.....they are just corners...where my Overage Mall Rat and I sat and people watched. There was a bit of excitement this past week... when one shark decided another shark was snack food!

Jo, your pictures show your fine eye..... sharing with my Mall rat.... thank you...

Oh, ok... These will not be pictures from the Brazilian Carnival parades - since we were not in the parades area!
But we had a great time during the Brazilian Carnival holidays and wanted to share a few of them with you!

This picture is of a bio-ecological building - they retrieve an old tradition of building walls made of fallen branches plastered with mud or clay. The result can be very beautiful and neat, as you can see...

In this one, I'm with TowandaBR in front of an old steam train - the type of train that would be in operation at the time of The Lost World voyage...

And here, we were in an Ecological Park, about 20 minutes away from my house, where they had a beautiful and colorful tree trunk (we could not find the name of the tree, but it seems to be a type of eucalyptus - if any of you happen to know the name of it, please don't hesitate in posting it in this thread...)

Unfortunately the Carnival holiday is over, and in a short while I'm going to drive TowandaBR and her mom to the airport for them to fly back to Brasilia Crying or Very sad
But I won't complain - we had a WONDERFUL holiday...

Warmest regards from Brazil,

Lady Cris Krux & TowandaBR

My visit to the 'oulin Rouge LOL.. it's a local cinema chain that incorporates themes.. at this moviehouse the theme is French turn of the last century... had a great time in France... went to see the Spyderwick Chronicles (no spiders appeared in the film.. thank goodness).

Cris and Simone.... thank you for the great pictures... and the look at what warm weather is...

Hugs,
